Moodle Training
We specialize in all types of Moodle training from using Moodle in a traditional classroom setting to installation, configuration and management of a Moodle server. Additionally we can show you how to build your own Moodle themes. Examples of the types of Moodle training we can offer are:
* 2 Day Introduction: This is a two day training where we cover the basics on the first day and we spend the second day really getting in and designing a site for the users at the training.
* 1 Day Introduction: This is similar to the two day course above but everything is crammed into one day. This is a very intense day and only recommended if the users in the training are pretty tech savvy.
* 1 Day Overview: This class is designed to just show people what the LMS is and how it could be potentially used in your environment.
* 1 or 2 Hour Overview: Similar to the overview above but not in as much detail.
* 1 Day on using the LMS as a basic web presence: This course is designed to just show how to use the LMS as a web site tool. None of the interactive features are covered in this session. Users will learn to create and manage a basic web site using the tools in the LMS system.
* 1 Hour to 1 Day courses on specific modules within the LMS system.
* 1 Day training on creating new themes
* 1-3 day trainings on installing, configuring, upgrading and managing your own Moodle server.
We can also customize the training to fit your particular need.
Additional Training
In addition to Moodle training we can offer training an a variety of open source applications like OpenOffice, Audacity, Freemind and a number of other titles. We can also provide training in a large variety of web 2.0 applications like blogs, wikis and podcasts. Don't be afraid to ask if you don't see something listed.
